Devein Or Not to Devein?
So I’ve never deveined shrimp in my life I’ve always bought it from the fish monger or grocery store already deshelled and clean. I hear its optional sometimes whether to devein shrimp. I’m watching Chopped sorta, I woke up to catch the end of one round. The woman stood there truthfully and told the judges that she doesn’t feel it’s necessary to always devein shrimp in her restaurant. the other judges nod and sum douche bag and to chirp in “Well I think you should rethink that”. If I was a contestant, I’d of ripped into him during the break. It’s fine to tell me how to cook for this competition but don’t tell me how to cook in my own establishment. They obviously were chosen because the network thought these chefs had talent to start with.
