The Cooking Channel (Cont.)?
I foresee it looking promising but so did Food Network back when it started and look at it now! A network for cookie cutter shows with the same theme and no fresh ideas. Will Cooking Channel become Food Network’s the next FLN in the future? A place to dump old Food Network shows the network won’t air ie Malto Mario, Have Fork Will Travel, The Hungry Detective and Follow That Food? Not to mention shows that previously aired like Ming’s Quest & East Meets West…OR will they actually do what they should be doing with Food Network?
I think it would be a good opportunity to start fresh and improve on what has utterly failed! And maybe in the future scratch FN as a whole; but in fact if what I see is true getting the network started with shows hosted by Emeril and of FN alumni is a bad start! Don’t mistake this as hatred, I love me some cooking shows and watch Food Network everyday but it has gotten mundane and one can only stomach the same reruns for so long.
