Anthony Bourdain’s in Maine. Wonder how this will go? So far not so great. it’s pretty fucking boring and I gotta say Andrew Zimmern’s take on Maine was more entertaining and still left me a bit pissed off. Bourdain’s mentioned a few times how small Maine town’s are but if you live here, the urbanized centers of central and southern Maine do not seem so small. He was just in Rockland at Primo. I’ve never been there but if you’re looking for real Maine it doesn’t sound like the place to be going. The owner isn’t even Maine bred. before that he was in Portland at some chef’s restaurant and if the dude looked any more pissed, I think his head would have caught fire. So far this is shaping up to be a lame episode… Currently it’s on commercial.
